FourFox Technologies Privacy Notice
Website privacy practices for visitors and prospective clients
Effective date: October 2, 2026
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Overview
This Privacy Notice explains how FourFox Technologies, LLC, doing business as FourFox Technologies (“FourFox,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit www.fourfoxtech.com or communicate with us through the website. It also explains the choices and rights that may be available to you.
This Notice applies to the public FourFox Technologies marketing website and its consultation and contact features. It does not govern a client website that FourFox builds or maintains for another organization. That organization is responsible for its own privacy practices. A separate written agreement may govern information FourFox handles while providing services to a client; if that agreement conflicts with this Notice, the agreement controls for that client relationship.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
When you request a consultation, contact us, or fill out our interactive forms, you choose what personal information to share. We may collect:
- Identity and Contact Data: Your name, business or organization name, email address, and optional telephone number.
- Project and Communications Data: Your current website address, the type of service you seek, estimated budget range, desired timing, project descriptions, and the contents of any messages, files, or follow-up communications you submit.
- Marketing Insights: Information regarding how you heard about FourFox.
Please do not submit payment-card information, Social Security numbers, medical information, account passwords, or other sensitive personal information through our website forms. Withholding requested contact data may prevent us from evaluating your request or discussing potential services.
Information collected automatically
When you use the website, our hosting, security, and analytics providers may automatically receive limited technical telemetry. This may include your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, timestamps, and website feature interactions. Server logs and security tools also record details needed to detect errors, abuse, and unauthorized activity.
We use Google Search Console to understand website performance, traffic sources, and search visibility for our website fourfoxtech.com. Because Google Search Console functions purely as an aggregate reporting tool for search performance, it does not deploy any user-facing tracking cookies, store individual visitor identifiers, or track unique users on our site. Search performance data is aggregated directly by Google based on its own search engine logs rather than scripts running on our website, so there are no retention settings or visitor opt-out mechanisms applicable to your browsing session here. We do not use analytics tools to capture or record the contents of your project description, full URLs containing personal information, or sensitive information.
Additionally, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to monitor general website traffic volumes and page-loading performance. This service inserts a lightweight client-side JavaScript beacon into our web pages to report aggregate performance dimensions (such as page load times, country-level location, browser types, and referral paths). This analytics product does not track or profile individual users over time, collect any personal data, or utilize device fingerprinting.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
The website does not use optional marketing or advertising cookies, nor do we deploy any trackers for cross-context behavioral monitoring. Our on-site traffic measurement tools, powered by Cloudflare Web Analytics, operate strictly without cookies, local storage, or client-side persistent identifiers. The site utilizes only basic, strictly necessary technologies required for data transmission, user session preferences, and website security. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although blocking necessary technologies may affect website operation.
- Security & Bot Detection: We use Cloudflare Turnstile on this website to secure our contact forms and prevent automated spam and abuse. Turnstile operates invisibly in the background to evaluate telemetry, device signals, and browser fingerprints to distinguish human users from automated bots. Any data processing or session tokens used by Turnstile are deployed strictly for security verification, meaning they do not track your long-term browsing habits or require optional marketing cookie consent.
- Embedded Third-Party Content: In the future, we may embed content or features from third parties (such as video players, maps, or social media buttons). If you interact with this embedded content, these third parties may drop their own cookies or track your engagement according to their own privacy policies. If applicable law requires consent for nonessential third-party technologies, we will request that consent before activating them on your screen.
The website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals because there is no generally accepted response standard. Because we do not track users across the web or sell personal data, opt-out preference signals do not alter our data processing practices.
Information We Collect Directly from You
- When you interact with our website, you may choose to provide personal information to us directly. The primary way this occurs is when you fill out our contact or consultation request forms.
Depending on what you choose to share, we may collect:
- Identity and Contact Data: This includes your name, company or organization name, email address, phone number, and any other contact details you provide.
- Project and Communications Data: This includes the details of your project description, business needs, timelines, and the contents of any messages, files, or follow-up communications you submit to us.
- You are under no obligation to provide this information but withholding it may prevent us from evaluating your request or discussing potential services with you. We do not knowingly collect or request sensitive personal information (such as financial account numbers, government identifiers, or health data) through our website forms.
How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:
- Receive, evaluate, and respond to consultation requests and other communications.
- Provide requested information and discuss potential or existing services.
- Operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
- Measure website traffic, engagement, and conversion performance using aggregate data from Google Search Console and native website metrics.
- Prevent spam, fraud, misuse, and security incidents (including bot mitigation via Cloudflare Turnstile).
- Maintain business records and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
- Send marketing communications only when permitted by law; you may opt out of promotional email at any time.
How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: We may use companies that provide website hosting, domain and DNS services, email delivery, web security, automated challenge services, and privacy-first website performance analytics (such as Cloudflare, Inc.), spam prevention, source-code hosting, backup, and professional support. They may process information only as needed to provide services to us, subject to their contracts and policies.
- Professional advisers: We may disclose information to attorneys, accountants, insurers, and other advisers when reasonably necessary for professional services or protection of our rights.
- Legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, property, users, or the public.
- Business transfers: Information may be disclosed as part of a proposed or completed merger, financing, sale, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate safeguards.
- At your direction or with your consent: We may disclose information when you ask or authorize us to do so.
FourFox does not sell personal information for money. FourFox does not use or disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
Third Party Websites and Services
The website may link to client websites, portfolio projects, social platforms, map services, or other third-party resources. Those parties control their own privacy practices. This Notice does not apply after you leave the FourFox website, and we encourage you to review the relevant third party’s privacy notice.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Notice, including responding to inquiries, maintaining business and tax records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. Unless a longer period is needed for an active client relationship, a legal requirement, or a dispute, we expect to retain unsuccessful or inactive consultation inquiries for no longer than 24 months.
Technical logs, automated security challenges, and website performance analytics managed by Cloudflare follow Cloudflare’s privacy-preserving data handling rules. Cloudflare Web Analytics data is strictly aggregated and does not contain personal identifiers, while Turnstile telemetry and standard edge server logs are designed to be deleted or anonymized automatically within Cloudflare's standard, short-term operational windows. Backup copies of our own systems may remain until overwritten through the ordinary backup cycle.
Information Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the information we handle. Planned measures include HTTPS, access controls, multifactor authentication for administrative services, secure email transmission, input validation, rate limiting, security headers, dependency maintenance, backups, and restricted access to business systems. No Internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Privacy Choices and Rights
You may ask us to update or correct contact information you provided, stop promotional email, or delete an inquiry that we no longer need, subject to legal and operational exceptions. Depending on where you live and whether an applicable privacy law covers FourFox, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of certain personal information; to opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising, or profiling; or to appeal a denied request.
To submit a request, email contactus@fourfoxtech.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” Describe the request and the email address associated with your interaction. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and identity. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
If we deny an appeal that applicable Texas law requires us to consider, we will provide information about how to contact the Texas Attorney General.
Children’s Privacy
The website is intended for businesses and adults seeking professional services. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can evaluate and, when appropriate, delete it.
Users Outside the United States
FourFox is based in Texas and the website is directed primarily to customers in the United States. If you access the website from another country, your information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location. FourFox does not currently market services to residents of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or other non-U.S. jurisdictions.
Changes to This Notice
We may update this Notice to reflect changes in our practices, technology, services, or legal obligations. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide any additional notice or choice required by law.
